1. Warm-Up: Start the analyzer and allow it to warm up according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
2. Connect: Attach the probe to the vehicle’s exhaust pipe and ensure a secure fit.
3. Calibration: Follow the calibration procedure to ensure accurate readings.
4. Testing: Start the vehicle’s engine and run it at idle and various RPM levels as required by the test.
5. Recording Results: Take note of the emissions readings displayed on the analyzer for CO, NOx, and other relevant gases.
6. Analysis: How to compare the results with the legal limits to determine if the vehicle passes or fails the emissions test.
